"An entire conversation, just me and a tree. And on the climb down I felt like crying.
Why didn't I have someone real to talk to?
Why didn't I have a best friend like everyone else seemed to?"
This is just one of my favorite of my quote from the book Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen

The Ferry Ride....
I can't remember if when was the last time I rode the metro ferry on my way home... it just seems very inaccessible for me and time consuming....
But today I did! It was brave enough for me to go to Colon Street and took a jeepney ride to Pier 3 which has changed and improve a lot since my last visit.
And it is just the perfect day for a Metro Ferry ride, the sun is up and shining and the hum of the waves so soothing as the cool wind plays through the tangles of my hair...
All in all I enjoyed the ride and all my childhood memories flooded through.. cotton candies and balloons after Sunday church with lola and lolo... as the ferry sails home...
And took some photos for souvenirs ...

red ... red ... wine .
a satin touch
of this
unbroken crystal ...
a little fire ignites ...
i tasted ...
i suckled in your velvety flavor ....
an ardent dance
of
crimson tides ....
i held you closer to my lips....
warmed by the candlelight .
a smooth rapture
descended
to quenched this withered soul
and cure my woes ...
once again
imbibe thee my lips
red ... red.. wine .

sleepless ...
then ...
i woke up
with this deafening silence .
a still room
with just the curtain blown by
the breeze ...
i twisted
i turned
i tumbled on this crumpled sheets ....
sleep evades me ...
i closed my eyes ...
and
i saw your face ....
i hear your voice ...
i hear you sing ...
and so .
i twisted
i turned
i tumbled on this crumpled sheets ....
i hugged your pillow
i inhaled your scent on it ...
i breathed your warmth ....
i closed my eyes
and
a tear rolls down my face ...
and so.
i twisted
i turned
i tumbled on this crumpled sheets ....
and a sob ached my chest .

hello ...
come to me now ...
spring is here .
I wished I had forgotten ...
those nights in your arms .
but
you came again
and said HELLO
and I was taken
with your song ...
those sweet lullabies
and tender kisses ...
the unspoken promises of ...
love or desire ?
nonetheless ...
what matters now is
you came again
and said hello...
spring is here .
I wished I had forgotten ...
those nights in your arms .
but
you came again
and said HELLO
and I was taken
with your song ...
those sweet lullabies

nonetheless ...
what matters now is
you came again
and said hello...

summer sunset
the flowers bloom
the blue sky
the sunshine
summer is here ….
the waves so white
the scent of the sea
the colorful starfish
summer is here…
the silky sand
the soothing breeze
the curtains dance
summer is here …
the lovely sunset
the midnight sky
the lonely soul
because you’re not here .

Experiment 101 : Passion , Pleasure and Poetry
the thought of a man's skin ....
warm skin - brushing against mine
tickles my spine with pleasure or yet even more ...
that doesn't leave me wondering' right ?
but what I've been wondering , dreaming
and desired the most is
how would this MAN would write about me .
I've been in love with poetry ever since ....
fallen " in " and "out " of love with men who wrote and loved poetry ...
.... I pained and hurt ...
but then there was
passion
pleasure
and
poetry
... after the anguish torment of illusions and fantasy ...
These three words :
(1) Passion
(2) Pleasure
(3) Poetry
A friend once told you that desire is a very dangerous thing .
Are you up to it ?
Three words can sum up the experiment:
(1) Passion
(2) Pleasure
(3) Poetry
Without the first, the third is flat and colorless. Without
the second, the first is only a dream, and the third, a lifeless
set of words. And without the third, the first and second are
but fleeting emotions, forgotten at midday, and gone by sunset.
I've often wondered how it is like to feel a woman skin and
write the emotions directly, as if very tactile touch is a word
that is to be born into this world.
For this, we'd need four walls, a bed, you, me and our wits.
This is a visualization of "poetry lives in the lining of your skin".
And what better way to feel than to be beside somebody who
adores and writes poetry.
( Note : Found this on my email last night .... makes me smile though )

eyes closed ...
you wake up each morning ....
and think about me .... thinking if what i'm doing...
you close your eyes for a moment...
and will imagine if what i must me doing right now ...
then you would imagine other things like... what if you wake up one morning and i'm beside you ...
you would hug and kiss me...
breath in my scent... you will hold me closer ... and whisper ..
" i love you ... "
and you will close your eyes ...
and wait for the " i love you too " part ...
still you will hold me close and feel my warmth ...
close your eyes and you don't want to wake up yet...
hoping that the dream will not end...
not just yet...
please not just yet ....
i do the same thing each morning ....
when you're not with me ....

therefore
I live and I breath
and until now I ache
but still I live and I breath
and until now I'm in pain
still I live and I breath
your memory haunts me
and euphoria came
your memory caught me
and I'm in heaven
but then we have to move on
by the end of the year we need to finalize our conclusions
and therefore we conclude that we need to change and move on
and a new year will come
and until now I ache
but still I live and I breath
and until now I'm in pain
still I live and I breath
your memory haunts me
and euphoria came
your memory caught me
and I'm in heaven
but then we have to move on
by the end of the year we need to finalize our conclusions
and therefore we conclude that we need to change and move on
and a new year will come
I will live and I will breath
maybe I will still ache and feel pain
but I'm just living the human life ....
until I'm in heaven or heaven like with you .....
maybe I will still ache and feel pain
but I'm just living the human life ....
until I'm in heaven or heaven like with you .....

somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond

I loved this poem very much it was narrated for the song
The first time I loved forever by Lisa Angelle
by E. E. Cummings
somewhere i have never traveled, gladly beyond
any experience, your eyes have their silence:
in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me,
or which i cannot touch because they are too near
your slightest look easily will unclosed me
though i have closed myself as fingers,
you open always petal by petal myself as Spring opens
(touching skilfully,mysteriously)her first rose
or if your wish be to close me, i and
my life will shut very beautifully ,suddenly,
as when the heart of this flower imagines
the snow carefully everywhere descending;
nothing which we are to perceive in this world equals
the power of your intense fragility:whose texture
compels me with the color of its countries,
rendering death and forever with each breathing
(i do not know what it is about you that closes
and opens;only something in me understands
the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses)
nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands

One of my favorite sonnet by Elizabeth Barret Browning ....
Is it indeed so? If I lay here dead,
Wouldst thou miss any life in losing mine?
And would the sun for thee more coldly shine
Because of grave-damps falling round my head?
I marvelled, my Belovèd, when I read
Thy thought so in the letter. I am thine--
But . . . so much to thee? Can I pour thy wine
While my hands tremble? Then my soul, instead
Of dreams of death, resumes life's lower range.
Then, love me, Love! Look on me--breathe on me!
As brighter ladies do not count it strange,
For love, to give up acres and degree,
I yield the grave for thy sake, and exchange
My near sweet view of Heaven, for earth with thee!

Stars…

You said you will be my star at the break of dawn
You are the star to shine on me
My star that would care and never leave me…
How did you made me believe?
That wishes will come true if I wish upon a shooting star?
How did you made me believe?
That constellation will guide me and will bring me to you…
But when in reality,
I know
I could never reach a star
For they are too far
That I could never own a star
Such as you are…

Tristan and Isolde
The legend of Tristan and Isolde is one of the most influential medieval romances, which was about a love triangle between the hero, his uncle King Mark and Isolde, his uncle's wife. This page contained full story from the early traditions and a briefer alternative accounts of the later legend...
Sunday....
Spent the day watching movie ... classic movies , historical movies...
Then I got stuck on this movie " Tristan and Isolde "
Not really the greatest war , epic or love movie .
But all in all I've watched it yesterday for 3 times ... not counting the rewind + rewind on the favorite scenes .
It made me cry... It made me fell in love with the poetry that Isolde read for Tristan after they made love inside the hut in Ireland shore ....
" My face in thine eyes, thine in mine appears,
And true plain hearts do in the faces rest;
Where can we find two better hemispheres,
Without sharp north, without declining west?
Whatever dies, was not mixed equally;
If our two loves be one, or thou and I.
Love so alike, that none do slacken, none can die. "

A poetry by John Donne , The Good-Morrow
( The Good-Morrow Full poem by John Donne )
And here are some of my favorite scenes as well ....

" It’s good you are remembering things.
This might sting. Do you remember anything else?
The boat I found you in? How you got this?
Too many questions. Here keep it dry. Here I found bread, you have
water and fire. The ocean is outside if you wish a bath.
You won’t know where you are going so please don’t try to leave.
Just trust me. "

TRISTAN : Come with me. Come with me!
ISOLDE : I can’t
TRISTAN : Why not? Please!
ISOLDE : Tristan, we’ve both known this can’t be.
We’ve known this from the start.
That doesn’t mean it isn’t true. It is.
It just cannot be. I want to know that you are alive somewhere thinking
of me from time to time.
I want to know that there is more to this life and I can’t know that if
they kill you.Please?
Too bad I did not found any picture where Tristan was dying by the river when Isolde said these lines to him ...

I do not know if life is greater than death, but love was more than either...
All in all I fell in love with the story ...
I fell in love with Tristan!!!

Dreamer ...
On of my fave lyrics ....
Why are my eyes always full of this vision of you?
Why do I dream silly dreams that I feel won’t come true?
I long to show you the stars,
Caught in the dark of the sea.
I long to speak of my love,
But you don’t come to me.
So I go on asking if maybe one day you’ll care.
I tell my sad little dreams to the soft evening air.
I am quite hopeless it seems.
Two things I know how to do.
One is to dream,
Two is loving you.
I am quite hopeless it seems.
Two things I know how to do.
One is to dream,
Two is loving you.
